Maurice is a world-renowned futurist, innovator, and technology visionary. He’s worked with corporations, governments, and research teams to understand the future ahead of us, and has designed strategies and products that will help us thrive in the uncertain times ahead.

Most recently he was Chief Innovation Officer, Telefonica Alpha (Moonshot Factory) where he built and led a team to develop moonshot candidates/startups in energy, food, metaverse, learning, oceans, blockchain, climate change, waste, synthetic biology, and cybernetics. Prior to that he spent 7 years as the head of Applied Research and Innovation at Autodesk, where he built and ran a multidisciplinary team doing applied research in AI, robotics, AR/VR, additive manufacturing, and ocean health and resilience.

Maurice has worked with Amazon, Autodesk, NIKE, Tesla, Mercedes Benz, Airbus, the Navy SEALS, the Government of Japan, and many others. He is a rare blend of hands–on practitioner and big thinker.

He has more than a dozen patents in robotics, AI, metaverse, and design. His TED Talk on the future of AI has 12+ Million views.
